It was a very special day for Glaitness primary school today. As a result of doing a great job in going international, the school was given a full international award by Mr Alistair Carmichael this morning.
I find it really interesting to read about the school system in other countries. It makes me realise how lucky we are to be able to offer our pupils the opportunity to link with others across the world. It also makes me more aware of the value of learning by DOING rather than by just reading about it.
